Natural linen in a simple, plain weave (tabby weave) is an environmentally friendly classic with an enormous range of applications. Linen breathes. It’s comfortable. It’s easy to care for. What’s more, it comes in a huge array of beautiful shades. Most of our linen fabrics, unless otherwise noted, have been pre-softened so you won’t get the stiff, scratchy canvas of old. We carry linen fabrics in a range of weights for everything from light, summer frocks to heavy drapes. Better yet, linen is much more eco-friendly than ordinary cotton because its production is less water and pesticide intensive.
