Product description

Product description

This gold corset busk is made of stainless-steel fasteners mounted on a spring steel strip 12 mm (½") wide that is coated with plastic to prevent corrosion. The busk is firm enough for extremely tight-laced corsets. This type has been in use since the mid nineteenth century.

The busk is centered at the front of the corset to make dressing easier. Lace the corset loosely in the back, fasten the busk in front, and then tighten the laces. When undressing, simply loosen the laces and then unfasten the front to take the corset off.

The busk can be shortened in the same manner as steel boning.
