Product description

Lightweight dress fabric in light blue made of premium, sustainable ECOVERO rayon, certified safe for children under 3. It has a moderate drape, perfect for blouses, tops, and dresses and is soft, fine, and a joy to wear.

Fine twill weave

This ECOVERO twill has the exceptional smoothness that makes modern rayon fabrics so pleasant to wear. It is gentle to the skin and feels lightweight, but at the same time has the drape and body to deliver elegant results.

ECOVERO – rayon that lasts

As soft and flowy as classic rayon, but of decidedly higher quality, ECOVERO fibers will not stretch out or lose their shape, nor will they fade after a couple of washes – so instead of a one-season wonder, you get a fabric that will bring you joy for years to come. It’s a timeless material that stays beautiful and comfortable no matter how much you wear it.

Good for the planet

ECOVERO is rayon’s eco-friendly cousin. The trademark, owned by Lenzing, is only applied to rayon viscose made to strict sustainability standards. The raw material is wood from sustainably managed forests. The manufacturing process itself, from tree to fiber, has been optimized to minimize its impact on the environment. In terms of water consumption, chemical use, and overall carbon footprint, ECOVERO rayon is the most ecological textiles currently available, surpassing even other environmentally friendly rayons such as modal and lyocell. What’s more, it’s entirely recyclable!

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

This fabric is certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class I – the highest rating, which guarantees safety for children under three. Certification means that the fabric does not contain harmful substances and poses no health risks, so you can use it with confidence for clothing and items that will come into direct contact with a child’s sensitive skin.

What to use it for

This elegant twill fabric is perfect for a dress, skirt, or blouse. Highlight its qualities in draped cuts, circle skirts, ruffles, rouching, and cowl necklines as well as wide legged pants.

Try it for accessories too, like a long scarf or shrug.

ECOVERO’s softness and breathability also make it a perfect choice for lounge and nightwear – sew a nightgown or pajamas.

Care

Machine wash cool (30°C). Iron on cotton setting. This is a very fine fabric, use a low spin cycle – gentle handling will extend its lifespan.

FAQ

Is your product assortment always the same?

Most of our fabrics are one-time offers that last until they are sold out. However, some more popular items are always restocked or can be ordered on request. As a rule, this applies to notions, where the selection is pretty consistent, but may also include some types of fabric. Look at the product's availability value – it shows whether the goods are available while supplies last, in the core inventory or in a seasonal collection.

What is a seasonal collection?

The goods in the seasonal collection come directly from our verified manufacturers. We change up the colors on offer from season to season but fabric quality is always constant. For large (wholesale) orders, colors that have been sold out can be reordered individually.

Do you have a permanent designer fabric collection?

Our designer fabrics are limited editions that we renew each year. If you find a fabric you like in the designer section, we recommend purchasing it without delay, as it’s unlikely to be restocked once sold out.

What is a limited edition?

Limited editions are fabrics of exceptional quality or patterns that have been designed and produced exclusively under the Sartor brand. As a rule, they do not repeat and are therefore only available while supplies last. Don't miss your chance to own a true original.

What is the smallest amount of fabric I can order?

The minimum fabric order is a length of 20 cm.

Do you accept orders by phone or email?

No. We only accept retail orders through the e-shop. This eliminates situations where someone else orders the last of an item while your order is still sitting in our inbox or lies jotted on a bit of paper by the phone. By purchasing online, you are putting an immediate hold on the product. Of course, you can always call or write to us if you need help making your selection.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes. We ship worldwide. The price of shipping is automatically calculated at checkout before payment after you select the country of delivery and the preferred carrier. If you do not find your country in the dropdown list, please contact us. You will find a rough overview of shipping costs in our shipping and payment terms.

When will my order be delivered?

The estimated delivery date with your selected carrier can be seen before payment is made at checkout. It is calculated as the time for processing and packing your order plus the time it takes the selected carrier to deliver to a specific destination – this can be from 2 days for delivery within the Czech Republic to a week for delivery outside the EU. Expect longer delivery times during big sales and holidays.
