Product description

Product description

Linen is a versatile material for clothing and home decor. This lilac fine linen fabric is made in lightweight weave, also known as handkerchief linen. It excels in kerchiefs, shirts, blouses, scarfs, and looks great for curtains too. Wonderful for modern clothing, our light linen proves a good choice for period costumes as well, where it is a perfect choice for undershirts, tunics, and linings. This linen is sturdy and resilient, breathes well, and has a smooth, pleasant feel without the itchy roughness typical of some linen fabrics.

Linen will shrink, so it’s a good idea to wash it before cutting. To prevent fading, dyed linens should not be dried in direct sunlight.

Care

Wash dyed linens at 40°C; white and natural linens can be laundered at 60°C. Iron on the highest setting; may also be steamed. If machine drying, use a short, gentle cycle.
