Designer fabric from Naomi Ito in Japan. Quality linen with an abstract floral print. Light and breathable, perfect for dressmaking, accessories, and home decor.
Every Nani IRO fabric begins life as a watercolor painted by Japanese designer Naomi Ito. Delicate strokes capture the interplay of nature, light, and emotion in designs that play with the idea of color itself. The pattern is then transferred to premium textiles using state-of-the-art printing technology. The result – a wearable work of art.
“I hope my textiles will be like the
scenery you see when you close your
eyes – filled with memories, light, and
warmth.”
Naomi Ito
The Lei Nani pattern was inspired by the Hawaiian lei. Dainty white flowers float on a light, pastel background, as though someone had taken apart a floral garland and scattered the blossoms, petals, and leaves. The pattern’s white paint strokes are highlighted here and there in fresh green and pearly silver accents.
This fabric is a classic, pure linen weave. The natural irregularity of linen thread gives it a subtle but interesting texture. The fabric has the stiffness typical of a medium-weight linen, but softens with washing. This is not one of those scratchy linen fabrics – it has a lovely, smooth touch.
This gentle linen is just perfect for a summer dress, shirt, or top and also makes a pretty scarf. Try featuring this print in a minimalist or romantic interior – it would make lovely curtains.
Wash at 30°C . Iron on the highest setting; may also be steamed.
Yes, most fabrics include a “Order swatch” button directly on the product page. Swatches are typically about 8 × 12 cm in size. For full instructions, please see 👉 How to order fabric swatches
The minimum fabric order is a length of 20 cm.
No. We only accept retail orders through the e-shop. This eliminates situations where someone else orders the last of an item while your order is still sitting in our inbox or lies jotted on a bit of paper by the phone. By purchasing online, you are putting an immediate hold on the product. Of course, you can always call or write to us if you need help making your selection.
Yes. We ship worldwide. The price of shipping is automatically calculated at checkout before payment after you select the country of delivery and the preferred carrier. If you do not find your country in the dropdown list, please contact us. You will find a rough overview of shipping costs in our shipping and payment terms.
The estimated delivery date with your selected carrier can be seen before payment is made at checkout. It is calculated as the time for processing and packing your order plus the time it takes the selected carrier to deliver to a specific destination – this can be from 2 days for delivery within the Czech Republic to a week for delivery outside the EU. Expect longer delivery times during big sales and holidays.
