This mint silk organza is wonderfully sheer and weightless, but is quite stiff and holds its shape wonderfully. It excels in gathered skirts and sleeves, structured styles, and in ornaments such as bows and silk flowers. Combine it with other stiff fabrics such as dupioni, taffeta, or duchesse. Organza layers well with lace, works as a backdrop for fancy embroidery and appliqué, and can serve as a light interfacing or lining. It also makes peerless curtains.
