Genuine 100% natural silk thread is suitable for hand and machine sewing. It is similar in thickness to ordinary machine thread. It is soft to the touch and has a rather silky sheen, making it useful for ornamental stitching.

Use silk thread for sewing any silk garment as well as for historical costumes.

Care

Silk thread can be laundered at 30°C and ironed on low. When caring for garments sewn with silk thread, follow care guidelines for the fabric used.

How to order sample swatches of fabric

  2. One fabric sample is for 0,5 USD, we send swatches in envelope. You will be charged postage for a letter envelope. But don’t worry; to offset the cost you’ll find a 50 CZK voucher enclosed as well.
  3. Continue to choose shipping and payment. Are you only ordering fabric swatches? Just choose shipping option "Czech Post - Envelope" for 50 CZK. Don't worry, we will add a voucher for the same amount for your next purchase.
