Product description

This fine twill weave is made mostly of cupro, a material similar in its makeup to rayon but of superior quality, with a silky feel and appearance. Slightly velvety to the touch (like the skin of a peach), this fabric is cool and pleasant against bare skin. It has a moderately gentle drape. The fabric is reversible; one side has a matte finish and the other a slight sheen.

Cupro serge serves well as a sturdy lining for blazers, raincoats, and dresses, but also stands on its own for trench coats, jackets, and gathered skirts. It is so light that it gives garments a weightless quality.

Care

Hand wash. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry. Cupro withstands higher temperatures, but if washed carelessly, it can stiffen and form obstinate creases. Dry iron at no higher than the cotton setting. This fabric is color-fast and withstands pilling.
