This fabric remnant may have a small flaw such as a stain, tiny hole, or weaving irregularity. If the type of defect is known, it is stated in the product description. We offer a generous discounts because we do not photograph the defects or provide details about their size or placement – purchasing this remnant is therefore a bit of a “lucky dip.” You may receive a piece where the flaw is barely visible, or one where it is more noticeable. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this uncertainty.
Defective remnants cannot be returned or claimed due to the listed flaws.
This finely ribbed knit, made from a blend of Tencel and wool, combines the best of both materials – warmth, breathability, softness, durability and rich, vibrant shades.
More resilient and durable than ordinary rayon knits, it is also warmer than pure Tencel, making it ideal for cozy underlayers, autumn dresses and lightweight cardigans.
If you long for a merino tee but have sensitive skin, this fabric can be a great option. Wool and Tencel are knit together for a fabric that is soft, smooth, and comfortable on bare skin.
Wool, which makes up nearly 20% of the blend, lends this knit a pleasant warmth, while the higher proportion of Tencel ensures a smooth feel and lends softness and drape.
Both fibers breathe and manage moisture well. A bit of elastane added to the mix improves elasticity and helps the knit retain its shape.
This fabric is double knit – it has the same, finely ribbed texture on both front and back.
This stretchy knit with nice, full feel is perfect for any number of base pieces. Try it for:
This fabric’s wool content will keep you warm all winter long.
You might also give this Tencel-wool blend a whirl for a warm dress, an elegant top, a long skirt, a cardigan or any pattern that can take advantage of its stretch and drape.
Tencel, or lyocell, is a modern, eco-friendly cellulose fiber produced from wood. It is part of the rayon family, however, compared to standard rayon, it is stronger, more durable and better retains its properties when wet.
One great advantage is its more environmentally friendly production. Cellulose is processed in a closed-loop system, where the water and solvents used for production are largely captured, purified and reused. This results in less waste, making production significantly more resource-efficient.
The wood used to produce lyocell comes from controlled sources. Furthermore, trees do not require the intensive irrigation or pesticides that some other textile crops demand.
The result is a material that combines softness, drape and comfort with strength and durability – which is why it is ideal for comfortable items that are worn often.
Lyocell is a general term for a type of cellulose fiber derived from wood using the closed-loop manufacturing process described above. Tencel™ is a trade mark under which the Austrian company Lenzing markets premium cellulose fibers, including Tencel™ Lyocell, from which this knitted fabric is made.
So, while not all lyocell is Tencel™, Tencel™ Lyocell is always lyocell produced by Lenzing in accordance with its own standards and technologies.
To ensure this knit retains its appearance, shape and comfort, we recommend basing your care routine on its most delicate component – in this case, wool. Treat it as you would any wool fabric.
Most of our fabrics are one-time offers that last until they are sold out. However, some more popular items are always restocked or can be ordered on request. As a rule, this applies to notions, where the selection is pretty consistent, but may also include some types of fabric. Look at the product's availability value – it shows whether the goods are available while supplies last, in the core inventory or in a seasonal collection.
The goods in the seasonal collection come directly from our verified manufacturers. We change up the colors on offer from season to season but fabric quality is always constant. For large (wholesale) orders, colors that have been sold out can be reordered individually.
Yes, most fabrics include a “Order swatch” button directly on the product page. Swatches are typically about 8 Ă— 12 cm in size. For full instructions, please see 👉 How to order fabric swatches
The minimum fabric order is a length of 20 cm.
No. We only accept retail orders through the e-shop. This eliminates situations where someone else orders the last of an item while your order is still sitting in our inbox or lies jotted on a bit of paper by the phone. By purchasing online, you are putting an immediate hold on the product. Of course, you can always call or write to us if you need help making your selection.
Yes. We ship worldwide. The price of shipping is automatically calculated at checkout before payment after you select the country of delivery and the preferred carrier. If you do not find your country in the dropdown list, please contact us. You will find a rough overview of shipping costs in our shipping and payment terms.
The estimated delivery date with your selected carrier can be seen before payment is made at checkout. It is calculated as the time for processing and packing your order plus the time it takes the selected carrier to deliver to a specific destination – this can be from 2 days for delivery within the Czech Republic to a week for delivery outside the EU.
